Stock Photo - Jun. 06, 1951 - M15 Seek Two Whitehall Men Foreign Office Riddle: The Foreign Office announced this afternoon that two members of the Foreign Office have been missing from their homes since May 25th. They are Mr. D.D. MacLean, who has the rank of councellor, and Mr. Guy F. de M. Burgees, a second secretary. An official statement said it is known that they left for France a few days ago. French police and M15 are co-operating in an extensive search. Mr. Maclean had a break-down a year ago owing to overstrain, but was believed to have fully recovered. Owing to their being absent without leave both have been suspended with affect from the last June. Photo shows Mr.D.D.Maclean, one of the two officials missing from the Foreign Office. Mr. Maclean is the son of Lady (Gwendoline) Maclean and of the late Sir Donald Maclean. (Credit Image: © Keystone Press Agency/Keystone USA via ZUMAPRESS.com)
