Stock Photo - Jun. 06, 1957 - The 'Cutty Sark' restoration almost completed 'Mrs. Mops' Move in.: The work's most famous sailing ship the 'Cutty Sark' tea Clipper - is now almost back to her original splendour - as she was when constructed in 1969. She is now in a permanent berth - in a dock at Greenwich - and her restoration cost is estimated at about £250,000 to include the establishment of a number of bursaries to aid youn men train and qualify as officers in the Merchant Navy. The setting up of the vessels as a Musuem at Greenwich - has been organised by the Cutty Sark Preservation Society - and the Museum will be officially opened by H.M. The Queen - next Tuesday.
