Stock Photo - Mar. 03, 1972 - Former SS-Leaders On Trial In Munich: 30 Years after they are said to have taken part in shooting Je-- in South Russia, three former members of a 'Special Command' of ---- are on trial in Munich now. Two of them are police-officer -- Earl Finger (62), Siegfried Schart (56) and Theo Lipps (57) are accused of thousands fold murder. The bill of indictments says: 'children and babies were taken to execution-place, many children fell into the corps-holes still alive, Some of the mothers turned round before being killed abnd saked the rifleman too kill them and their child with one shot'. Karl finger, former SS-main-combat leader and the other two Combat leaders belonged to the commando 'le b' which 'cleaned' up between July 1941 and January 1943 in the North Bakowima, in the Ukraine on the Krim and in the Kaukasus-area. The accused defend themselves, saying they only carried out orders. The trial will continues.
