Stock Photo - May 05, 1961 - Mrs. Lubetkin-Zuckerman gives evidence at trial of Adolf Eichmann: One of the witnesses who gave evidence at the trial in Jerusalem of Adolf Eichmann accused of the mass murder of millions of Jews in Nazi wartime concentration camps was Mrs. Tzivia Lubetkin Zuckermann who told how in April 1943 the notorious Warsaw Ghetto had been surrounded by thousands of heavily armed German troops. Young Jewish men and women were waiting for this moment to strike back when the Germans approached they threw their home made bombs and watched German blood flow in the streets of Warsaw. They drove the Germans from the Ghetto but of course they came back with tanks and the fighting went on day after day.
