Stock Photo - Oct. 10, 1958 - 81.000 in 21 minutes at Sotheby's last night. Six of them will gi to America, and the seventh was brought by a London dealer. The top price of 20.000 paid for Cezanne's 'Boy in a Red Waistcoat' more than doubled the world record of 04.000 paid for a Gaugin in Paris last year. It was bought by Mr. Georges keller, of the Carstairs Gallery, New York. Van Gogh's 'Public Garden at Arles' sold for 32.000, and Manet's 'Flags in the Rue Mosnier', 13.000, also beat the old record. The total of 81.000 was another world record. Last night's sale was of pictures from the estate of the New York millionaires, Mr. Jacob Goldschmidt. Photo Shows Renoir's 'La Pensee', one of the colection of paintings which was bouth by London dealer M,r. Edward Speelman for 2,000, and will stay in Britain.
