Mr. Floud, who was 52, and a Granada TV executive, based in London, had been MP for Acton since 1964. His wife, Ailsa, died in January after a long illness. Today's discovery was made by his son, Roderick, who said later: 'My father had been ill for some months after the death of my mother.'
