Vicky, Crown Princess of Prussia introduced Luise Margarete to Prince Arthur during a visit to Berlin in 1878. The couple had three children: Princess Margaret ('Daisy') of Connaught (later Crown Princess of Sweden), Prince Arthur of Connaught and Princess Patricia of Connaught (Lady Patricia Ramsey).
