The glucose sensor enables Manuella to check blood sugar levels regularly and easily, by scanning with the device. The insulin pump, controlled by another device, gives Manuella insulin throughout the day. Thanks to this device, she can add a bolus of insulin depending on her diet. At high school she has to cope with controlling her blood sugar levels and administering insulin herself. She scans her sensor to control her blood sugar levels before sports lesson.
