James - Comoton , 26, the young American Scholar who wonthe Conrad Adenauer fellowship , arrives in Munich this weak pursuant to commencing his graduate studies at the University of Munich in November. The Adenauer fellowship was inaugurated by the chancellor of the German Republic at a group of major United State Universities when Adenauer visited the United States in 1953. This is the second year American scholars have been able to take advantage of the fellowship. It is financed by the west Geman Republic. The Scholar gets free tution , books and a living allowance of 240. D Marks. James V.Compton is welcomed by the rector of the Munich University , Prof Dr. Marchionene.
