Stock Photo - Sep. 09, 1959 - Wernher von Braun - a traitor?: It gave a quarrel between the British film director Lee Thompson (Lee Thompson) right and the rocket expert Wernher von Braun who did not agree with some scenes of the scenario by which the story of Wernher von Brauns if to be filmed. It Wernher von Braun's opinion, these scenes show him as a traitor who, after the war, offered himself to the Americans in order to safe his life. Because of his working at the development of the V-arms, which destroyed a large part of London during the 2nd World War, he still is not much liked in England, but, after all, Wernher von Braun did nothing but accept a good offer given to him by the Americans. After a few hours of discussions, some scenes were altered. The shootings for the film 'The Wernher von Braun Story' can begin on Oct. 12th in Munich, and Curd Jurgens will play the part of the famous rocket specialist.
