Today the 'Muffin Man', dressed in authentic traders costume, came back to haunt London's famous Drury Lane - the original 'Muffin Lane' - or so the rhyme goes. Homepride Bakeries, who have their head offices in Bury Lane, were heralding the start of this year's Muffin Season (from October to March) with a Muffin man ringing his handball and chanting his tasty wares in the portico of the famous Brury Lane Theatre. He was giving away free sample to passers by in Drury Lane.
