During the Season of Lent (a 40-day period of penance and prayer which starts with Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Saturday, the day before Easter Sunday, which is celebrated by Christians worldwide to remember the resurrection of Jesus Christ), the mountain is extremely crowded.
