This year, the Dinner Party will be held at the Grand Ballroom, Kuching Hotel on Sunday, 24th April 2023 in Kuching, Sarawak, West Malaysia, Borneo The event will begin at 6 PM with the traditional belian dance, a form of former renowned Malay folk dance. After the dance, the attendees and diners will be served a variety of Malaysian halal food, such as nasi goreng, chicken and beef rendang, and a range of desserts. The event will end with a traditional Malaysian puppet show. There will be traditional cultural performances, art and craft stalls, and cultural stalls, plus an opportunity to win lucky draw prizes. The Dinner Party is a popular event amongst the local community, intending to promote local cuisine and preserve the culture and tradition of the community while bringing people together and strengthening the ties between cultures.
