Stock Photo - The Czech People in Need humanitarian organisation gave the Homo Homini Prize for courage in promoting democracy and human rights to Syrian teacher and activist Souad Nawfal this year, Adela Pospichalova, from People in Need, has told CTK. Pospichalova said Nawfal has won the 2014 prize for the persistence and bravery with which she protested against the injustice committed by the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and the Islamic State (IS) group.
