Stock Photo - The death of the British army Lieutenant-General Sir Thomas Picton, on 18 June 1815 at the Battle of Waterloo. Picton fought under Wellington in the Iberian Peninsular War but was killed in the fighting at Waterloo during a bayonet charge, when he was shot through the temple with a musket.
