Stock Photo - The first integration of the Launch Abort System is completed successfully at the manufacturing facility in Dulles, Virginia. The vehicle was designed, built and integrated in less than 24 months. Orbital Sciences Corporation was responsible for the design, development and test of the launch abort system for NASA's prime contractor Lockheed Martin.
