Stock Photo - The Palaestra of the Petronii was where people relaxed and indulged in sports before going to the baths. It dates from 225 AD and has a square courtyard surrounded by a Corinthian portico. Part of the architrave, decorated with palmette and flower ornament, has been preserved.
