Stock Photo - The wife, offspring, colleagues and friends of the world-known late entrepreneur Tomas Bata jr, the son and successor to the shoe empire founder, met in his villa in Zlin today, on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, to mark the centenary of his birth. The meeting was attended by Bata´s widow Sonja and all her children, Thomas (pictured left), Rosemarie, Christine (pictured right) and Monica. The whole Bata family reappeared in Zlin after 16 years to show what Tomas Bata meant to them as father, Pavel Velev, head of the Tomas Bata Foundation, told CTK.
