Stock Photo - This is one of a series of images photographed with a digital still camera using an 800mm focal length featuring the different areas of the Space Shuttle Atlantis as it approached the International Space Station and performed a back-flip to accommodate close scrutiny by eyeballs and cameras. This image shows part of Atlantis' underside thermal protection system and part of the port side cabin, including the hatch, as well as a section of the open payload bay cover. Distance from the station and shuttle at this time was approximately 600 feet.
