During the war, some of the tanks were painted with a white camouflage to make them less visible to the enemy troops. The German Army captured some H-39 tanks during the Battle of France, and designated them as ""Panzerkampfwagen H-39 (f)"". They were given a white code number ""92"" to distinguish them from French tanks.
